Like a Well-Watered Garden

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11

The Book of Proverbs in the Bible is a book I always understood as: Psalms teach you who God is. Proverbs teach you about man.

Proverbs is the book with practical Christian teachings for every aspect of life: love, morals, friends, work, debt, sin, wisdom, folly, raising children, feasts, money, theft, revenge, business principles, and many more.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7

Promises are bound to wisdom, and they are clearly described in Proverbs. God’s rules are like gravity, you don’t see them but they are there and they work whether you believe in them or not.

This week there is no show of products since I am resting as requested by our higher authority. New plans are on the way and must focus on these before going forward. I was thinking what to write for a post for this week, and the wisdom of Proverbs came to my mind.

When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Proverbs 3:24

  1. The four themes in the Book of Psalms is the glory of Jehovah revealed in nature, bad things happen to both Christian and non-Christian. The difference is the Christians have the Holy Spirit helps us. The wicked make evil plans for us and lay traps for us but the Holy Spirit guides us away from them and the wicked fall into their own traps. The wicked foolishly believe they are getting away with their oppression of the righteous but the tables are turned and the wicked will lose everything and the righteous will inherit peace and security in their old age.
