Staying in Faith

Oh how hard it is to stay in faith waiting for the promises of God to come to pass. Have faith the size of a mustard seed? Need a new dose of faith?

Ask the Lord to increase your faith and help you!

But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6

Stay in faith! Do not let the devil get an inch in your way! The devil is evil, wicked, and very very subtle with trickery. Watch out! He is out there to make you do not get your promises and fulfill the destiny the Lord has in store for you.

There is a book of you in Heaven with your purpose. We do know this: in declaring the Lord’s word, we will work our way through the obstacles and reach our final destination.

When I was beginning in the Word of God, I asked the Lord why His Word, the Scriptures, are considered a sword. He explained His Word is like a very sharp sword that cuts through anything. With a sharp sword you do not need to apply much force to cut ties, ropes, or anything holding us back.

This week, I am presenting you with two encouraging illustrations in a vintage retro style, with the Sword of the Scriptures to encourage your walk and refuel your faith.
